Senior Field Correspondent - Science and Innovation. NPR member station KJZZ & the Arizona Science Desk
I served as the first senior field corespondent - science and innovation for NPR member station KJZZ in Phoenix, AZ. For two years I helped launch the Arizona Science Desk, the first collaborative science reporting effort of all public radio stations across any state. I pitched, wrote, recorded, produced, edited and webbed 168 stories of science, sustainability, health, education, engineering, and innovation across the southwest. Some work was aired on NPR’s Morning Edition and WBUR’s Here & Now. Below are examples of my feature pieces to showcase some of my multi-media work in sustainability.
